Arrest warrants are a part of just about every criminal case. The Stone County, Arkansas Sheriff’s Office serves many warrants, but also has outstanding warrants on file. These outstanding, or active, warrants are documents issued by the courts that are based upon probable cause to order the arrest of an individual in connection with a crime. While the sheriff department has a duty to execute Stone County arrest warrants, if an individual contacts them regarding an outstanding warrant with their name on it, the sheriff states that they will attempt to work with the individual to resolve the situation.
The Criminal Investigation Division of the Stone County Sheriff’s office handles inquiries into criminal acts in the county, and coordinates with other agencies in investigations of various crimes.
